YouTube’s most popular Sailing Channel launches special offer at Boot Dusseldorf

To Celebrate the opening of the 2019 Dusseldorf Boat Show and their own installation of a Sonihull ultrasonic antifouling system, Captain Brian Trautman and the crew of S V Delos have revealed a secret phrase that will get show visitors an amazing 25% off Sonihull systems.
Visitors to the Sonihull stand (Hall 11, F03) just have to repeat the secret phrase to qualify for the offer. The phrase was launched by Captain Brian on Instagram and Facebook earlier today and will be valid throughout the show.

The crew of YouTube’s most popular Sailing Channel has chosen Sonihull to protect their 53-foot Amel Sailing Ketch. “The Sonihull system was very easy to install in SV Delos,” Says Captain Brian, adding: “Scraping barnacles is now a thing of the past and we’re experiencing much less weed growth. Backstory

Brian bought SV Delos in May of 2008. At the time he had no intentions of documenting his life with YouTube Sailing Videos, but as sometimes happens one thing lead to another and here he is, 45 countries, 70,000 ocean miles, and 200 YouTube Sailing Videos later. The decision to sell everything, buy a sailboat, and set off on a grand adventure was a defining point in Brian’s life. His brother Brady (aka Señor Brady) joined Delos in Mexico for a month-long sail to Tahiti. Now, 8 years later, he is still onboard. Brian met the love of his life Karin (aka his Swedish Princess) on the other side of the Pacific in New Zealand, and asked her to go sailing for the weekend. Now, three oceans and many hard sea miles later, she has become an accomplished sailor. Together, the three form the core of The Delos Crew.

A few years into the trip In Australia the cruising kitty ran dry, and the crew stopped sailing to work for a year. A fellow cruiser gave them the idea to document and share their travels online. So, they bought a small camcorder and started making homemade sailing movies about their experiences. To date the Delos crew has published over 200 videos about their sailing and SCUBA diving adventures around the planet. The videos are all free to view on YouTube.
